FEB 2026 – New Cup Rules for 2026

Please read the new rules for those who win cups and trophies carefully. These new Rules will be implemented from the 2026 Show day.

On behalf of Lampeter Stallion Show please note that in signing the trophy book you have agreed to the following conditions:-

• 1. All perpetual cups and trophies are the property of Lampeter Stallion Show.
• 2. The cup or trophy you have won should be treated with care during the time it is in your possession and should be included on your household insurance policy.
• 3. Cups and trophies must be returned to the show secretary at least 1 month prior to the next year’s show day at your own expense.
• 4. A deposit of £20 will be taken on collection of your cups and trophies. This deposit will be refunded once the cups are returned in the condition they were taken and fully engraved.
• 5. The Lampeter Stallion Show takes the history and integrity of its records very seriously. All cups and trophies are to be engraved at your own expense.
• 6. Should cups and trophies not be returned engraved, the £20 deposit shall not be refunded and will be put towards covering the cost of the engraving.

FEB 2026 – NEW CLASSES for 2026 – Novice Mini Welsh Breed LR & FR

We are very excited to announce that the 2026 sees the introduction of the Novice Welsh Breed Lead Rein and Novice Welsh Breeds First Ridden Classes. These classes have kindly been sponsored by the Eynon Family. 1st and 2nd prize winners form both classes will go forward to compete against the 1st and 2nd prize winners from the Open Lead Rein & First Ridden Welsh breed classes to compete for the Overall Mini Welsh Ridden Champion. The champion will be awarded the Brand New ‘Frongoch Stud Presidents Cup’ donated by Emma Edwards and Karen Jones to commemorate their Mother, Ann Jones’, presidential year.
